Scooter Price, 27, of Venice, Florida died Friday August 22, 2008. Scooter was born June 6, 1981 in Cortland, New York . He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his father, Steve Price of Venice; his brother, Joshua Price of Houston, Texas; his sister, Naomi Price of Venice; his paternal grandparents, Roxie Price of Venice; Carole Rodger of Clinton, TN; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Connie Azbill of Dayton, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 29, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Venice.
Memorials: Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Venice, 312 Miami Avenue, Venice, FL 34285.

Steve i'm not sure where to start, there was so much i wanted to tell you, i guess the most important ws that i do love you with all my heart, and that i do forgive you for everything, i miss you so much, i can't begin to describe how much, but you know at least i have the best thing to remember you by (an he piches my face every morning)...i know you are in a better place and we'll get to see you again someday...You'll always be in my heart and i'll never forget the fun times we spent together...watch over jeremy and keep him safe for me....WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER STEVE!!!

To the family, You all don;t know us but we new steve.And was very glad to have known him what short time we did there was no other like him.He bought laughfter and a calm pleasent feeling when he was around. STEVE is gone away to paridase now! But he will always be in our heart.--with loving memorys, THE NEWBY:S.

i used to hang out with scooter back in the day, back home in venice. then i went into the army and he went into the air force. the last time i saw him, was at his wedding, probably 5 years ago...me and him were in our class A's together, cand we were both fresh out of boot camp. i remember after his wedding we all went to eat at chili's. through the years we have been keeping in touch through emails and stuff. i didnt find out until today, the 30th. i truly am sorry. scooter had a good heart and would do anything for his family and close friends. i shouldnt be saying this like he is gone though, cause hes not. hes with everyone who knew him, and we will all be together again one day...see ya then scooter...

you will be sincerely missed scooter. i have nothing but good memories of you and had often thought about how life had been going for you. im glad fate let us meet again shortly before you made that journey to the better life on the other side. one day we shall be in ones company again to maybe catch a good ball game and reflect back on old times. to your family. i never knew you as well as i should have but my heart truelly goes out to you in this hard time. scooter will be missed by many and its sad that the good truelly do die young. sincerelymike D.

Steve, Josh and Naomi; Words do not come easily to me right now, it seems as though they really would not be of comfort- the only thing that seems right to say to you right at this moment is that GOD LOVES YOU~ and so do all of we! We will all miss Scoot- as every one of us has really good memories of Scoot and your entire Family. You all were so dedicated to each other, and that is what made all of us look at your family with such AWE in our eyes, you could always feel the love between all of you and that you had for each other. I know I am too far away to do anything for you- but the one things I can do is PRAY. We all know where Scoot is- he is enjoying his homecoming with our Lord and Savior, and he is getting ready for the grand celebration for when we all make our final journey home to be with him again. steve,josh,naomi..words are hard for me at this time..i just found out about scooter's passing..so many great memories of scooter growing up..steve..i know this is so hard for you..you are strong and will come thru all this..scoots was such a great kid..always kind respectful and so full of life..i wish i could be there steve,just like you were always there for me..god bless you naomi and josh..scooter is in a better place and i will see him someday...katz
